Hey! New batch of fellas readdy to burn the material world, in the name of the blood God obviously!
No need to add Greenstuff anymore for those classic models, nice work from Kevin A. Quite tricky to find the right posture for the long arms and serpentine body of these Bloodletters and avoid their fall out. I can only imagine how it's nightmarish to build a WHFB unit of them, difficult to keep a model on 1inch square.
Concerning the painting process, my aim here was to work with different red than those used for the Renegades. So to do, I used darker red and highlithed them with ivory. The result is a bright pinkish color, perfectly at the opposit of the classic red of the energetic armors of the Renegades.
Next step : Marines with Heavy Weapon!
The paintjob is awesome. I particularly love the tones on the Flesh Hounds. Wonderful!
RépondreSupprimerHey Subber and thank you for your regular comments on the blog. I highlight the red with ivory, pinkish result :)
SupprimerBeautiful, creepy painting on these guys. The original chaos daemons are still the best!
RépondreSupprimerAgree Mouse ! thank you :)
SupprimerI remember these figures - you have done a great job on them, the flesh hounds with the skull faces are really sinister!
RépondreSupprimerYep, sinister is the good word, it's smilling jaw make me unconfortable :) Cheers!
SupprimerVery nicely painted, I like the depth and highlighting of the red. Always good to see the old era Daemons.
RépondreSupprimerThank you lee :)
SupprimerAwesome paintjob! Love the limited color palette.
RépondreSupprimerThank you PS! :)
SupprimerThe ivory as highlight works beautifully! Love the photography, awesome back drop 🔥
RépondreSupprimerThank HDM!, you are very welcome here. Glad you enjoy my work, the back drop is based on the Rogue Trader rule book cover. Cheers!
Biz
