Here is the
last faction of this adventure, the Chaos Ratmen, they’re a new race and the scenario
of The Vengeance Of The Lichemaster was their first appearance in the world of
Warhammer.
This group
of Ratmen is led by a Greyseer named Gnawdoom, is also led by a character still
known nowadays, the famous Throt. Two other Skaven characters are present in
the adventure, Wielder and Packlord. As Mikeal Jacsen and Ranlac, these two
Skaven are going to be forgotten in the “new” scenario appeared in 2002.
All these Skaven
was painted a few years, I based my work on the Skaven army of Andy Chambers
appeared in White Dwarf 134. I always take a lot of pleasure to play this army
and I am very happy to be able to join it into this scenario.
You can find in the Citadel Journal Spring 86 a template for the Skaven Fire Thrower, drew by Jes Goodwin in Black&White. I washed it with different brownish colors and I plastified it.
Last part of the Skaven faction, the most sacred artefact of the Skaven race... The dreaded Skaven Black Arch or Arca
Chaotis (RpG). This magic Item which I cannot say anything about it presence in the scenario for the moment, does
not have any “official” model. Only two illustrations from the RpG and WHFB
scenario.
Next step? The monastery of La Maisontaal, pics coming soon !
WoW! This is impressing!
RépondreSupprimerI really like the formation of Skaven in your photos. It looks like a "svinfylking", which is how some historians think the Vikings formed themselves in attack positions. (Like a wooden-Wedge)
Your Arca Chaotis - is Fantastic! I am very impressed by your skills, Sir!
Hi :) Thank you for the Arca Chaotis!!

As always Nico your commitment to quality and conversion work is simply amazing. Your scratchbuilt black arch is awe inspiring. Your lichemaster scenario is going to be the best looking ever created. I feel the sudden need to get back to work, I feel the sudden urge to paint up some skaven!

Wonderful as always Nico :) Love the scratchbuilt ark. Been painting up a few Skaven myself recently, and those early sculpts are really fantastic.
